Wisdom is supreme; therefore, get wisdom”

-Proverbs 4:7

Hi and welcome! My name is Rigor McCakeren founder of therigorousproject.org. By now you’re probably wondering what’s this site all about, great! The RigorousProject.Org is a free resource for those people who are interested in self-improvement. It’s mission is to present to you valuable pieces of information that will allow you transform your mind and grow in different areas of life.

Let’s be honest here, we’re all humans, and humans are welling with weaknesses and shortcomings. It’s not new. It’s been written in the bible thousands of years now.  That our mortal minds will be an arena for battles between the flesh and the spirit. That’s why when we are making decisions to change our lives it feels like a constant battle from within. We all know the experience of laziness, lack of motivation, living day to day uninspired and have no apparent purpose in life. Those are all easy to do especially when our lives don’t seem to get any better.

The problem here is that, these weaknesses can cause us prolong emotional pain, anxiety and depression. And the sad part about this is that we carry these psychological baggage all through out our lives. It’s heavy, which makes it difficult to move forward. Another bad part about this is that It doesn’t just go away by ignoring it or in other words, hiding the skeleton in the closet.

What we need is not to ignore them or pretend they don’t exist. Because I’ve tried that and I know for sure that’s not the solution. If it was so, successes in life would’ve flowed so much easier. But in reality, that’s not how it works.

The truth is that there are so many challenges we have to face and sacrifices that we have to make. So for a start, what we need is to observe and understand how human minds work. This will grant us enough leverage to see the big picture and to become PROACTIVE as what Stephen Covey teaches in his book, the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, as opposed to just being REACTIVE(Allowing circumstance to guide us when making decisions) This is when the RigorousProject.Org comes into play.

You see, I’m just an average guy who’s prone to temptations and have other human weaknesses like yourself. I’ve suffered anxiety and depression, pain of regrets because of the wrong choices I made in my own life. If this sounds all familiar to you, I want you to know that you are not alone. For those of you who are going through the same experience, I know fully well how easy it is to make poor choices in life.

I reckon If there was a solution, it was going to be a very challenging quest and I figured I couldn’t do it by myself. In the back of my mind, I knew I needed extraordinary mentors who understand how to produce massive amount of results in their lives. People who came from nothing and later became unstoppable forces of success.

I knew that if my life is going to get better, I had to start learning what they know. And so I started learning. And it did transform my thinking. It renewed my perspective of life and that allowed me to transcend to a level of spiritual maturity I never knew possible. I began having confidence in myself. Anxiety and depression were gradually fading away.  Life becomes more meaningful. Motivation and inspirations rushed in more often and at some point even overwhelmed me. My mind is way clearer than it used. I’ve learned how to be grateful both during my blessed times and the seemingly misfortune events.

About 1But even though I’ve learned great amount of wisdom and information in my pain I understood the journey doesn’t end here. I know in my heart that my learning and work are far from over. At this point of time, what would bring me even more joy, meaning and satisfaction in my quest is NOT to keep what I’ve learned to myself.

Therigorousproject.org is a platform I created so I can share with you valuable life lessons that you already might be looking for. My hope is to help you transcend in a level, which will bring clarity and peace in your life. So if you find any benefits from what I’m sharing with you, I’d like you to consider it as blessings.

So to end this welcome note, I’d like to say I love you and I wish you the very best in your endeavors to make your own journey in this life so much better!
