Another things that you should consider is self talk. Self talk is simply a conversation that you have in your mind. Most of the time you may not be conscious that there’s conversation going on inside your mind. So you can’t really say you don’t have this thing because only crazy people do this. Okay, that’s funny but not entirely true.

So here is a really important things to take note of… Self talk is something that can make or break your confidence. How so? To put this matter in a simple way, we will break this down in two section.

  1. The first one is the Negative self talk.
  2. The second one is called the Positive self talk

As you can see they are both labeled self talk but one can have negative effect on your psychology and the other has positive effect.

If you really want to solve this problem what you need to do is to first become aware of your own dialogue. You have to observe your thoughts and even the words that come out of your mouth. Are they negative? Is your language can be considered as pessimist? If so, it’s sad to say but you are causing your own lack of self-confidence.

And if you really are serious about raising your self-confidence, you must replace the negative self talk to a positive one. The one that is empowering and helping you believe in yourself. You have to habitually say words such as I am self-confident, I believe in my self, I can do this, I’m worth it, I deserve good things in my life.

There is also this one powerful thing that can also break or make your self-confidence. It’s called Self Belief. How does this two simple word keep you away from becoming self-confident? And how does it generate self-confidence?

Lack of Self Belief – Is a quality of a person which says, I don’t believe in my capabilities. The person who lack self belief are the one who easily surrender when facing life challenges. And because this person don’t believe in himself he also pass on many life opportunities for improvements. This person even views him or herself as lazy, undeserving and have low energy. Now that you know this I’m pretty sure you don’t want to be lacking of self belief.

Sufficient Self Belief – You don’t have to have all the Self belief in this world to help you gain self-confidence but surely, you just have to have enough of it. A person who has enough self belief in his or her tank is a person who has a reason to proclaim his or her own self-confidence. This person is not afraid of attention. This person is not afraid of fame or success. This person feels good about being proactive and has the self-confidence to pursue his or her dreams.
